Salah Habit is designed with privacy at its core. Your prayer data stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or share your personal information with anyone.

Information We Don't Collect

Salah Habit does not gather:

• Names or personal identifiers
• Location data (processed locally only)
• Prayer history or habits
• Usage analytics tied to your identity

How the App Works

Location

Salah Habit uses your location solely to calculate accurate prayer times for your area. This processing occurs exclusively on your device — your coordinates are never transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties.

Notifications

If you enable prayer reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to any external service.

Data Storage

All your information — prayer times, logging history, settings, streaks, and journal entries — remains stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data is not synchronised to any cloud service. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed.

Subscriptions

All subscription transactions are processed entirely through the Apple App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Analytics

We use PostHog to collect anonymous, aggregated usage analytics — such as which screens are viewed and which features are used. This helps us improve the app experience. No personal information, prayer data, or location data is included in these analytics. You cannot be personally identified from this data.

Third-Party Services

Salah Habit uses a small number of third-party services to improve the app experience. Each maintains its own privacy policy. We only use services that align with our commitment to your privacy, and no personal data is shared with any third party.

Children's Privacy

Salah Habit is not directed to children under the age of 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
